| Abstract: | The humiliating punishments are penalties that destroy the personality of the criminals and impose psychological pains on them. Ancient China had many kinds of humiliating punishments in its long history. Ancient literatures and achievements of archaeology record abundant contents. Reviewing the history will give us a better understanding of the facts that humiliating punishments revive in some countries . |
