5月18日，我市2005年安康杯竞赛总结表彰电视电话会议在市委办公厅会议室召开。市人大副主任、市总工会主席刘文同志，市政府副市长周慕冰同志，以及市总工会、市安监局、市国资委、市交委、市经委、市建委的负责同志出席了主会场会议。全市所有区县设置了分会场，组织了有关部门和职工收看。

创新机制,为竞赛注入活力

中铁十一局集团第四工程有限公司,现有职工2900余人,下设40多个工程项目部、36支工程（架子）队伍。主要从事铁路（客专）、公路、机场、码头、市政、地铁等工程建设,属综合型工程公司。     

长阳县举办首届职工运动会

5月9日上午，长阳土家族自治县首届职工运动会开幕。采自各乡镇、县属企业及县直机关共56个代表团参加了开幕式。 此次运动会由长阳总工会、长阳文化体育局主办，自5月9日开始，5月22日结束，历时半月，1200多名运动员将参加巴山舞、拔河、乒乓球、篮球、羽毛球、围棋、中国象棋、花牌8个项目的角逐。独具民族特色的巴山舞比赛，是参赛人数最多的项目。本届职工运动会参与面广、参赛人数多、竞赛项目丰富多彩，在长阳工运史和职工体育赛事上是一次开创性的体育盛会。

The business of leisure: sport,labour and co-operation in post-war Britain

Compared with the activities of its European counterparts, the sporting and recreational pursuits of the British labour movement are less well known. Yet the co-operative movement organised an impressive range of sports clubs, competitions and events. Whereas previous studies have examined the relationship between the labour movement and working-class leisure during the interwar years, this article considers the interactions of the co-operative moment with popular discourses on recreation in Britain from the 1950s to the 1970s. In so doing, it challenges assumptions about the Left's disconnection from sporting culture. The Co-op used sport to create a collective co-operative identity amongst its employees. Examining the social and political context of these activities in post-war Britain can inform debates on the construction of female identity through sport, the use of recreation for business advantage and the extent to which the co-operative movement shaped working-class leisure patterns. Although the article highlights that co-op sport formed a source of tension between the retail and wholesale sections of the movement and could be adversely affected by popular affluence, it argues that a reappraisal of the co-operative movement's recreational activities contributes to a broader understanding of post-war working-class culture.

香港输入外劳的政策及其影响

“外劳”在香港是指那些来自所谓第三世界落后国家的、从事体力劳动的蓝领工人,特别是透过政府实施的“输入劳工计划”的输入劳工。1989年以来,香港政府输入外劳政策经历了“一般输入外劳政策”、“扩大输入外劳政策”和“补充劳工政策”三个阶段。香港政府输入外劳政策不仅对香港经济发展产生了影响,对香港的劳动力市场也产生了重要影响。

Preventing ‘robotised women workers’: women,sport and the workplace in Scotland 1919–1939

This article examines a new area of women's leisure; women's participation in work-related sport. The growth and development of industrial welfare in Scotland in the interwar period will be discussed. Within broader studies, Stephen Jones, Helen Jones and Melling have all indicated that there was a growth in industrial welfarism in Britain from the turn of the twentieth century. This development of welfarism, which included provision of educational classes, pensions and medical support, increasingly also encompassed a variety of sports and physical activities. By looking at case studies, developments in provision across a range of industries will be examined. This discussion will draw on a wide range of sources from a variety of women's employment, from factories to clerical positions and from the retail sector to the civil service. This article will examine the types of sporting opportunities open to women through their workplaces, including organised welfare schemes and independent employee-led activities. Moreover, it will explore working women's experiences of these activities and the ways in which they chose to participate in sport.     

‘Our own paper’: evaluating the impact of Women's Cricket magazine, 1930–1967

This article examines the content of Women's Cricket magazine, which was published between 1930 and 1967 by the Women's Cricket Association. It is suggested that sportswomen have always actively resisted and attempted to combat the negative discourses surrounding their participation in physical activities; the magazine is used as a case study of this. It is argued that the editors attempted to challenge the stereotypes of women's cricket available in the mainstream press by publishing a newspaper of their own which provided accurate, serious coverage of their sport, and by distributing this to the mainstream press. The question of how far they were successful in altering negative discourses about female participation in the sport is also assessed.
