山中人兮芳杜若饮石泉兮荫松柏--著名中国画家周沧米和他的艺术人生

<正> "大块本造化,雕琢况天工。灿烂漫世界,元气混沌中。"周沧米先生的这首题画诗,道出了中国画艺术更深的层次……六、七十年代他那屡变屡奇的《牧趣图》,就赢得了美术界的广泛赞誉;八十年代以来,其艺术触角则向着山水画伸展;九十年代初,他远离城市的喧嚣,而结庐故乡雁荡,寝昧于清泉怪石茂树闲云之间,开始了山水画的创作。他又在故乡雁荡山下的一块大石上造了个画室,近几年大约有一半时间是在雁荡山的画室中度过的。在山里隐居,他如鱼得水,画出了许多佳作巨制。他的中国画创作,向来以其造型谨严、笔墨畅达、情趣充盈而引人注目,他的写生稿数以万计。在当代的中国画坛,可以说,很少有哪位画家能像周沧米先生那样,对中国绘画的执     

澄怀味像 入古出新——读贾广健的花鸟画

读贾广健的花鸟画使我想起了黄宾虹先生曾告诫后学的一段话:学习中国画要"师今人、师古人、师造化。"且要"朝斯夕斯,终日伏案,不遑少息,藏焉修焉,优焉游焉,以至于成功"。可以说贾广健就是一个这样的求索者和成功者。     

当代高等美术院校中国人物画发展之浅析

当代中国人物画发展较快,而高等美术院校中国人物画直接借鉴和引用西方美术教学体系为框架,结合中国画技法规律建立了一种"新体系",并融合西法成为人物画的主流,进入了新的发展时期。同时,50余年的艺术教育抹煞了中国画教育的"特点",影响到传统中国画的发展。因此,希望建立以"笔墨"为主、符合中国画传统"特点"的艺术教育体系。

中国画创作精要在于笔墨之美,这是我一贯坚持的信念。我以为舍却了这一点。就等于丢掉了中国画的一个命脉。笔墨美是中国绘画在漫长的历史传统中逐渐生成、不断创新积累出来的民族精神的艺术结晶,可以说,它浓缩了中国人的文化心理与哲理思考以至审美表达及个性宣泄的全部内涵。

正大自然的美独立存在,需要我们去发现、去感受;绘画是情感的表达,需要我们用心灵去体验、去挖掘。传统中国绘画与传统哲学息息相关,受老庄"天人合一"哲学观念的影响,画家已不满足对客观事物的写实描摹,而要努力作心灵上的沟通,中国画的写意性由此而生。因此,中国画没有严格意义的写实,而写意画更容易融入画家的感情,"外师造化,中得心源"成为中国画创作的基本准则。"以物寓情,物我两忘,天人合一"的境界贯穿了创作的全过程。

中国画的多元创新时代

每个时代都有自身的文艺代表作。上世纪60年代,江苏省国画院首任院长傅抱石先生,带领江苏画家进行了有名的二万三千里写生,用鲜新的中国画语言绘出了社会主义建设欣欣向荣的历史场景,并创立了闻名海内外的新金陵画派。今天,中国社会进入了完全崭新的时期,我们周围的一切都发生了翻天覆地的变化,艺术创作流派纷呈,在这样的背景下,如果画家们死守前辈留下的遗风肯定不行,必须在继承传统的基础上创新笔墨,才能重塑中国画的辉煌。
