莲山纾灵脉,碧海育英才.在两种命运决战中诞生的中共大连市委党校(创建时称中共旅大地委党校),自1947年5月建校始,迄今已经走过整整60年的旅程.

尊敬的各位领导、各位来宾、各位离退休老同志、各位教职工: 上午好! 在这依山傍海、风景秀丽的校园,我们满怀激情,欢聚一堂,庆祝中共大连市委党校建校60周年.60年来,大连市委党校经历了创业的艰辛,动乱中的风雨曲折,也经历了改革带来的发展机遇,收获丰收的喜悦和欢欣.

1947年5月1日,中共大连市委党校的前身--中共旅大地委党校在中国两种命运的决战中诞生.60年来,党校围绕党的中心工作和市委、市政府的工作大局,开办了200多种班次的干部学习班,培训各类干部10多万人次,为大连的经济社会发展培养了大批人才.     

学习六中全会精神 推进和谐社会建设

为了深入学习贯彻《中共中央关于构建社会主义和谐社会若干重大问题的决定》精神,推进我市和谐社会建设,由中共大连市委党校、大连市社会科学界联合会、大连日报社联合举办的"推进和谐社会建设"理论研讨会于2006年12月7日在瓦房店市召开.

Why does the Communist Party of China (CPC) remain popular despite making several serious mistakes? How could the CPC make China the world’s second-largest economy? These are among the 13 questions answered by Xie Chuntao, a professor with the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC, in his latest national bestseller-Why and How the CPC Works in China. The English edition of the book, published in July by the Beijingbased New World Press, won a larger international audience at the Frankfurt Book Fair in October-not only because it addresses Western curiosity about the "China model" and "China’s road," but also because it puts forward a new way of introducing China and the CPC to the world. For this and the next three issues, Beijing Review will publish several chapters of the book, allowing readers a glimpse into the book. HISTORY AND CONTINUITY

Traditionally, the Sixth Plenary Session of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee focuses on ideological matters and usually sees a few reassertions and occasionally some redefinitions of the Party's central role. In recent years, sixth plenums have focused on discussions of the Party affairs, questions of ideology and Party building. At the conclusion of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, the Party released the text of the Resolution of the CPC Central Committee on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party Over the Past Century. The plenum, held in Beijing from November 8 to 11, laid the groundwork for the CPC National Congress in 2022. The meeting reviewed the work of the CPC over the last 100 years and set goals for the future.

正A key publication titled The CPC: Its Mission and Contributions was issued on August 26 by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China(CPC) Central Committee, intended to present the world with a true, multi-dimensional and panoramic account of the CPC.Since its founding one century ago, the CPC has evolved into the world's largest party with more than 95 million members.

CPC Outlines Self-Building Priorities

The Fourth Plenary Session of the 17th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) closed in Beijing on September 18, with pledges to expand intra-Party democracy and resolutely fight corruption. A total of 194 full members and 163 alternate members of the committee, the Party's top decision-making body, attended the four-day plenum, which was presided over by its Political Bureau. Hu Jintao, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, delivered a work report at the meeting.

New five-year blueprint lays down specific objectives for a prosperous China On October 26-29,the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th Communist Party of China(CPC)Central Committee was held in Beijing.There the committee approved proposals for the 13th Five-Year Plan(2016-20)for the national economic and social development and laid out institutional Party reform plans to guarantee more effective governance.
