如何认识当前的国际经济危机——兼评外国学者的各种见解

当前仍在持续的国际性经济危机,本质上是资本主义生产方式的危机。这次危机不仅使传统资本主义模式难以为继,也宣告了新自由资本主义的破产。但资本主义制度不会就此退出历史舞台,而是将在资本主义制度范围内通过深刻的变革而实现模式转型。中国作为新兴的市场经济大国,已经不可避免地处于国际性的经济危机之中了,其内因是基本的。为此,必须深刻总结30多年来改革发展的经验教训,适当转变改革思路和发展方式,走一条既符合一般规律又符合中国国情的发展道路。     

Wage labour and capitalism: a comparative and historical analysis of Eritrea and Kenya

Abstract

This paper seeks to explain the development of capitalism in Eritrea and Kenya from a labour history perspective. Indeed, the assumption in this research is that capitalism can only be explained by taking into consideration free wage labour as one of the sine qua non conditions for the existence of the capitalist mode of production. Therefore, the article looks at the paradigmatic socio-economic shifts: from unfree to free labour, from free to precarious labour and from unfree to precarious labour. These are the result of the complicated relationship that exists between capital and labour. The point of departure of the analysis is the Nieboer-Domar hypothesis on the structural origins of slavery, which despite severe criticism, it has been largely remained unchallenged until the present. In Eritrea, colonised by Italy, and Kenya, colonised by England, free wage labour fully developed between the nineteenth and twentieth century. This could be considered the era of the advent of capitalism, with the advent, for a fraction of the working population, of labour relations based on wages. The precarisation of life of free wage workers is also partially analysed in this article.     

从中国近现代史的四个关键问题看马克思主义的中国化

鸦片战争代表着"中国"历史的中断,鸦片战争后"天下"为"世界"所取代,"中国"史融入了"世界"史。从这一语境中重新审视马克思主义对于中国和世界的意义,我们提出和回答四个关键问题:中国近代是谁的"近代";"中华人民共和国"是什么性质的国家;中国特色社会主义是不是"社会主义";科学发展观是哪种意义上的"科学"。从这里可以看到,马克思主义的"中国化"和中国的"马克思主义化"构成了中国融入"世界"的同一过程的两个侧面。

四川绵阳“速度与激情”事件多方位反映出民法的问题。公民的隐私权、肖像权等人格权应当得到法律保护；公权力机关在对公共场所进行合法监控时必须保护好被监督公众的隐私权等人格权；公权力机构对依法获得的公民信息因过错而公开的侵权责任。这些反映出的民法问题都应该进行深入思考研究。     

A critique of bourgeois theories of economic development

Festival expenditures amount to over 15 per cent of a household's annual expenditures in rural India. Yet they have never been studied by economists. This article uses both qualitative and quantitative data from a case study of three South Indian villages to show that festivals are important public goods in the village, but neither a pure entertainment motive nor an altruistic desire to contribute to a public event seems to explain their size. Households which spend money on festivals, everything else held equal, are able, however, to generate tangible rewards - lower prices on food, higher social status and more invitations to meals from other families. This indicates that active participation in festivals generates private economic and social returns which help resolve a potential free-rider problem. The evidence is consistent with the notion that festivals serve as mechanisms by which communities build social networks.

清代一、二品官员贪腐案件众多,涉案人员广泛,一、二品官员位高权重,因此对其审判科罚有严格规定。在错综复杂的案情及人为因素面前,法律规定变得非常模糊,甚至在一定情况下,法律会被弃置不用,而皇帝的态度及喜怒对案件的审判起着决定作用。     

经济发达地区福利结构差异的政治经济分析——以辽宁、浙江和广东三省为例

1994年中国分税制改革后不同区域的福利水平和福利模式逐渐趋异。例如,辽宁省在财政支出中社会保障类福利支出较高而教育类福利支出较低,浙江省的教育福利类支出较高而社会保障类支出较低,广东省对于这两类福利支出的比例都偏低。福利支出结构的差异源自于这三个省份不同的经济发展模式和政商关系。作为理性行为者的地方官员,为了推进地区GDP(晋升指标)增长和扩大税收,会在福利支出的结构上跟随当地主体类型企业的福利偏好。
