汉字部首与英文词根比较

汉字是表意文字,形声字在汉字中占有很大一部分的比例,它们是由表音部件和表意部件构成,表意部件也可叫做部首,通过部首我们能知道一个汉字的意思或所属。英语是表音文字,词根是一个词的核心部分,表现了该词的主要意思。通常,词根的意思加上词缀的意思基本上就是整个词的意思。汉字中的部首和英语单词中的词根有着不同的构字或构词模式,这反映了不同的文化背景和思维模式。     

对套摹签名的实验研究

为进一步掌握摹仿签名的特点和各种因素对摹仿签名的影响,以摹仿签名的一种——套摹签名为研究对象,对50人书写的1200个套摹签名进行实验研究和特征分析。实验研究发现,套摹签名笔迹特征具有自身规律性,书写者书写水平、书写工具等因素对套摹效果有不同程度的影响,为摹仿鉴定工作提供理论基础和依据。     

Latvian CDI: methodology,developmental trends,and cross-linguistic comparison

ABSTRACT

In this article, we report the results of a large-scale population study based on the Latvian adaptation of Communicative Development Inventories (CDI) – a parental report tool aimed at mapping the lexical and grammatical development of children under the age of three. Two CDI forms are discussed: CDI I: ‘Words and Gestures’ (8–16 months), and CDI II: ‘Words and Sentences’ (17–36 months). This article discusses the Internet-based methodology used for the data collection, reports the main developmental trends of the lexical development of Latvian children, and compares these trends to analogous data from American English, Norwegian, and Russian.     

中外防止公务员利益冲突制度之比较及启示

针对反腐败过程中出现的新情况、新问题,很有必要借鉴、学习国外防止利益冲突在立法方面的成功经验。本文从公务员利益冲突涉及的回避制度、兼职取酬制度、财产申报制度、禁止收受贿赂制度、岗位轮换制度、离职后的行为限制等主要方面进行了中外防止公务员利益冲突的制度比较。本文认为,借鉴发达国家在防止公务员利益冲突上的法律法规,可以弥补我国在防止公务员利益冲突方面的不足,从而使我国防止公务员利益冲突制度更加科学化和规范化。     

论儒家伦理的宗教功能及其文化作用——兼与基督教文化比较

如果说,西方伦理是从属于基督教、是基督教派生的,上帝之死会导致伦理价值的崩溃;那么,儒家伦理则是由现实的血缘关系出发的一种准宗教文化建构.虽然“儒教”并非宗教而是一种伦理教化,然而,这种伦理教化却具有宗教的功能.它既能够慰藉个体的孤独情怀,又能以伦理架构的整体性超越死亡.儒家的伦理本位与基督教的上帝本位导致中西文化很多方面的不同,无论是将个体生命融入家国族类的整体、追求现世的自我还善,还是五四反传统的传统动因,都打上了儒家伦理的深刻印记.     

海峡两岸多层次资本市场比较及合作路径探析

经过50多年的发展,台湾地区形成了由“集中交易市场一上柜市场一兴柜市场”构成的多层次资本市场,有效促进了台湾地区金融资源的配置。经过20多年的发展,大陆业已具备了多层次资本市场的雏形,但同台湾相比,大陆资本市场层次性不够清晰、不同层次资本市场间升降转板机制尚未形成、场外市场发展相对滞后。由于两岸多层次资本市场的优势存在较大差异并有明显的互补性,两岸可以通过合作达成优势互补、获得双赢。两岸多层次资本市场在主板市场、场外市场、升降转板、资本监管等领域存在很大合作空间。     

Fingerprint comparison evidence has been under sustained attack in the United States of America for the last number of years: Is the critique with regard to reliability sufficiently penetrating to warrant the exclusion of this valuable evidence?

The decision in Daubert v Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals 509 US 579 (1993) brought about renewed attention to and scrutiny of fingerprint comparison evidence in the United States of America. In terms of the decision courts were to act as the gatekeepers with respect to the admissibility of scientific expert evidence. This article describes these events and investigates the grounds upon which challenges were made to fingerprint comparison evidence in the courts, as well as the position that was taken by the courts. The article also considers the fundamental test for the admission of expert evidence, and whether the critique pointed out by the defendants in the cases with regard to reliability are sufficiently penetrating to warrant the exclusion of fingerprint comparison evidence.

What does method validation look like for forensic voice comparison by a human expert?

Method validation has gained traction within forensic speech science. The community recognises the need to demonstrate that the analysis methods used are valid, but finding a way to do so has been more straightforward for some analysis methods than for others. This article addresses the issue of method validation for the Auditory Phonetic and Acoustic (AuPhA) approach to forensic voice comparison. Although it is possible to take inspiration from general regulatory guidance on method validation, it is clear that these cannot be transposed on to all forensic analysis methods with the same degree of success. Particularly with respect to an analysis method like AuPhA, and in a field of the size and characteristics of forensic speech science, a bespoke approach to method validation is required. In this article we address the discussions that have been taking place around method validation, and illustrate one possible solution to demonstrating the validity of voice comparison by a human expert using the AuPhA method. In doing so we consider the constraints placed on sole practitioners, which generally go unacknowledged.
