肺气肿肺气虚证大鼠血气分析、血中细胞因子及肺组织病理学的改变

目的 :探索肺气虚证的本质。方法 :将 6 0只大鼠随机分为模型组与对照组 ,复制肺气肿肺气虚证模型 ,分别检测 pH、氧分压 (pO2 )、氧饱和度 (SaO2 % )、二氧化碳分压 (pCO2 )、白细胞介素 6 (IL 6 )、白细胞介素 8(IL 8)、肿瘤坏死因子 α(TNF α)及肺组织病理学的改变。结果 :模型组pH、pO2 、SaO2 %下降 ,pCO2 升高 ,与对照组比较 ,差异有显著性 (P <0 .0 1 ) ;模型组IL 6、IL 8、TNF α升高 ,与对照组比较 ,差异有显著性 (P <0 .0 1 ) ;病理组织学及超微结构检查显示肺组织有慢性支气管炎及肺气肿病变。结论 :肺气肿肺气虚证大鼠存在低氧血症和高碳酸血症 ,血中细胞因子IL 6、IL 8、TNF α升高 ,可能是肺气虚证从轻度向中、重度发展的重要原因之一。     

番鸭花肝病病原的研究

从广西患花肝病的雏番鸭肝、脾分离到 3株病毒 ,定名为NM1、NM2 、NM3。这 3株病毒能在番鸭胚和番鸭胚成纤维细胞上增殖 ,并产生细胞病变。人工感染 1日龄番鸭致死率达 10 0 % ,但对鸡、康贝尔鸭和鹅不致病。分离毒对氯仿不敏感 ,耐热、耐酸 ,不被DNA抑制物所抑制。分离毒的细胞培养物经超薄切片 ,磷钨酸负染 ,在电镜下观察到大量球形、实心 (少量空心 )的病毒粒子 ,其直径 6 6～ 70nm ,无囊膜 ,属无囊膜的RNA病毒     

The Impact of Multiple Types of Child Maltreatment on Subsequent Risk Behaviors Among Women During the Transition from Adolescence to Young Adulthood

The purpose of this study was to investigate how different types of child maltreatment, independently and collectively, impact a wide range of risk behaviors that fall into three domains: sexual risk behaviors, delinquency, and suicidality. Cumulative classification and Expanded Hierarchical Type (EHT) classification approaches were used to categorize various types of maltreatment. Data were derived from Wave III of the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health (Add Health). Our sample consisted of White, Black, Hispanic, and Asian females ages 18 to 27 (n = 7,576). Experiencing different kinds of maltreatment during childhood led to an extensive range of risk behaviors within the three identified domains. Women experiencing sexual abuse plus other maltreatment types had the poorest outcomes in all three domains. These findings illustrate that it may no longer be appropriate to assume that all types of maltreatment are equivalent in their potential contribution to negative developmental sequelae.

The Shi'a of Saudi Arabia: a minority in search of cultural authenticity

This article focuses on the transformation of Saudi Shi'a resistance from one which centred on military confrontation in the 1980s to one which invokes searching for cultural authenticity (al‐asala al‐shi'iyya) in the 1990s. Today the struggle of the Shi'a for equal status among the Sunni majority draws attention to the attempts of Shi'a intellectuals to write their own regional history. Shi'a intellectuals and opposition leaders deconstruct official representations of themselves and provide alternative historical narratives which anchor their community in Saudi history and society, thus dismissing suggestions that they are a non‐indigenous community. This article examines Shi'a historical narratives in an attempt to understand the transformation in their struggle against discrimination in Saudi Arabia.     

Is there a selection bias in roll call votes? Evidence from the European Parliament

We examine the magnitude and significance of selection bias in roll call votes. Prior to 2009, all recorded (roll call) votes in the European Parliament had to be requested explicitly by European Political Groups. Since 2009, a roll call vote has been mandatory on all final legislative votes. We exploit that change in the rules and compare differences between final legislative votes, amendment votes and non-legislative votes before and after 2009, using a difference-in-differences approach with extensive controls. Using data from the Sixth (2004–2009) to Seventh (2009–2014) European Parliaments, we fail to find any large differences in voting cohesion for the main political groups. We find even less significance when we control for changes in parliamentary membership between those two periods. The results suggest that selection biases in the European Parliament associated with strategic choices are negligible.     

宽宥的代价——附条件不起诉的价值重塑及制度完善

新《刑事诉讼法》明确规定了附条件不起诉制度,作为检察机关的创新之举,该制度在刚推出时引发了学界和舆论的争议.笔者从我国附条件不起诉制度的现状出发,分析非议的原因.在肯定附条件不起诉制度的同时,认为实践中该制度的伦理色彩过于浓重,应重塑其价值,即主要体现为实用性、观察性、有限性.最后,通过评析新刑诉法的相关规定,阐述制度完善之策.     

Socioeconomic analysis: A case of Tharparkar

Tharparkar is one of the arid zones of Sindh province which is highly affected due to its drought nature and the changes in climate. These changes are posing the serious threats to the life and livelihood of the surrounding community. This study aims to explore the social and economic conditions of the Tharparkar and the role of government and social enterprises and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) to make the livelihood and socioeconomic conditions of the Tharparkar better and comfortable. The data was collected from the current literature, visits to the studied population, and interviews from the common people and some officials of government as well as social enterprises and NGOs.     

Ultimate Legality: Reading the Community of Law

This article is a contribution to the occasional series dealing with a major book that has influenced the author. Previous contributors include Stewart Macaulay, John Griffith, William Twining, Carol Harlow, Geoffrey Bindman, Harry Arthurs, André-Jean Arnaud, Alan Hunt, Michael Adler, Lawrence O. Gostin, John P. Heinz, Roger Brownsword, Roger Cotterrell, Nicola Lacey, Carol J. Greenhouse, and David Garland. An initial twist: several acute observers would consider the way I read to be the most influential effect of reading on me – a way of reading that extends beyond the specificity of the text yet, in so doing, connects integrally with it. Salvation of specificity is at hand, however. That way of reading is intimately reflective of Derridean deconstruction and a hugely influential reading becomes his ‘Force of Law’. A problem ensues. Other influential reading came before my love of Derrida – influential reading to do with law and society (of course), with decolonization and imperialism, with engaged anthropology, and with critical legal studies. A retrospective revelation then follows. Derridean deconstruction is found to haunt and inform these other readings. They can be read in a way that inherently anticipates deconstruction. Some culminating coherence is offered by the inescapable insistence of community and the mutually intrinsic fusion of community and law.
