理论构建与论文写作——关于翻译研究的Meta理论思考

Meta理论是研究理论的理论,对于理论的构建起指导作用,因此,Meta理论是一个更高层次的理论。本篇文章试图使用Meta理论的一般原则,对翻译理论的构建提出一些思考。他山之石可以攻玉,相信这一初步研究对翻译研究、翻译教学以及研究生学位论文撰写会有所裨益。     

社会语言学视角下的翻译探析

语言的使用不仅因情景、地域的不同而变异,也因各种社会因素的不同而发生变化形成变体,因此翻译是与社会实际紧密联系的,其功能就是要服务于社会,因此翻译存在的理据不是语言的差异性,而是语言的社会性。     

翻译的归化与异化的辩证统一

在经济全球化和国际文化交流日益频繁的背景下,翻译的归化与异化这一对矛盾势必凸显,我们不应厚此薄彼,重蹈历史上归化与异化之争的复辙。从翻译的基本任务和基本要求出发,辩证地处理好这一对矛盾的统一体。     

汉诗英译与英语现代诗歌——以魏理的汉诗英译及跳跃韵律为中心

魏理(Arthur Waley)不仅是20世纪西方最著名的汉学家与翻译家之一,也是英语现代诗歌运动中的一个重要人物.在英译汉诗中,他经过不断探索,成功地总结出一套内容与形式相得益彰的原则,与19世纪后期诗人霍普金斯(Gerard Manley Hopkins)在诗歌创作中所运用的"跳跃韵律"(sprung rhythm)不谋而合.魏理英译汉诗语言优美,富有诗意,在英语现代诗歌大潮中风行一时,并成为英语现代诗歌运动的一部分.许多人认为他的翻译就是一种诗歌创作,并且将其选入现当代英美诗歌选本中.     

鲁迅留日期间的翻译活动研究

早在日本留学期间鲁迅就清醒地认识到翻译具有启迪思想、沟通文化的作用。他的翻译作品为传播被压迫民族的反抗之声、启迪国人思想作出了很大贡献。鲁迅这一阶段的翻译以间接翻译为主。这种根据中介本进行翻译的移译经历为其日后翻译路径观的形成奠定了重要的实践基础。     

Translational criminology and its importance in policing: a review

ABSTRACT

Translational criminology is a decision-making perspective that emphasizes the dynamic coproduction of evidence by researchers and practitioners, focusing on obstacles to and facilitators of evidence generation and utilization. It incorporates several other data-driven decision-making models, including evidence-based policy making. This review suggests that the availability of empirical research is no longer the most significant impediment to evidence-based policing. Rather, translating and implementing knowledge about ‘what works‘ in policing has arisen as the field’s primary barrier to securing the effectiveness and efficiency improvements of research and data utilization. This article orients readers to translational criminology’s various components and explores their applications. Focusing on four central considerations, this review explores the roles of researcher practitioner partnerships, policy, technology, and government in developing and sustaining translational efforts in policing. The review concludes by acknowledging challenges to fostering a translational perspective in policing, and offers examples of where it has been applied with success.     

马克思主义在中国的早期翻译及传播

19世纪末期至20世纪30年代,是马克思主义传入中国的早期阶段.翻译作为马克思主义进入中国的必要条件和初始环节,对马克思主义在中国的传播起到了重要作用.翻译马克思主义的过程,也就是马克思主义中国化的探索和准备过程.从马克思主义译入中国的翻译主体、目的、内容、过程和特点等可以看出,翻译赋予了马克思主义以中国的特性,推动了马克思主义中国化的进程,为马克思主义本土化奠定了基础.     

How does the context make a translation happen? An activity theory perspective

Context is a critical topic in translation studies. The research into translation context has undergone a shift from the multidisciplinary investigation into one or a few contextual factors to conceptualizing it as contextualization, i.e. a dynamic process of the interactions among the contextual factors. Nevertheless, the mechanism of translation contextualization, namely, the problem of how the interactive factors enable a translator to bring a meaningful target text into being, is yet to be explored. Activity Theory is a cultural-historical framework to analyze social practices. It can provide an account of translation contextualization. In light of the framework, an activity itself is the context of a translator’s decision-making and translation contextualization is no other than the rule-governed actualization process of a translation activity, which is hierarchically realized through chains of actions and operations.     

中国法律翻译的研究进展

法律翻译,是对法律思想观念、法律语言文化、法律规范和法律文本的跨法系交流行为和跨语系交际行为。研究整理中国法律翻译的发展脉络,发掘其对整个中国近现代和当代社会的重大意义和深远影响,提出今后法律翻译在研究中的重点领域和方向。     

韩国文学汉译的“赞助者”研究

在当下的翻译研究中,翻译活动中的“赞助者”研究日益受到重视。而韩国文学汉译领域中的相关研究还处在萌芽的阶段。韩国文学作品在中国翻译、出版,韩国文学翻译院起到了巨大的推动作用。本文对其2001年成立至今资助翻译、资助出版中文译著的情况进行梳理,力图揭示其对韩国文学在中国翻译、传播中起到的作用、影响以及不足之处。
