Analysis of the Reasons for the Rapid Development of India-Japan Relationship in the New Century

Geopolitical environment,power relations and economic needs are main factors of India-Japan relationship before the new century.In the new century,there are four factors,including economics,politics,maritime safety and powers.In addition to the complementary nature of economic development model,there are more and new mutual economic values and appeals between India and Japan.The common political motivations are seeking a permanent seat in the UN Security Council and sharing western democratic values,but their influences on India and Japan are fundamentally different.Japan and India need to draw on each other in energy security at sea and waterway,but we must pay a special attention on three points.The United States has been promoting a close relationship between India and Japan,but its influences on the two are different.China is an important factor in an objective manner in the development of India-Japan relationship,and China can apply a positive impact from both internal and external aspects.
