Sovereignty and Environment Reflection of Basic Principle International Environmental Law

The process that a sovereign state deals with its environment is that one that the relation between sovereignty and environment moves toward the unity from contradiction. The concept of sovereignty in modern international law is not abandoned and is improved on a higher level. That is to say, the sovereign principles coexist with the environmental principles outside state sphere of jurisdiction. This change makes the sovereign principles keep its existing power and influence continuously in new century.
