词典与英语词汇学习

本文主要阐述两部分内容。一、单独采用查词典一种方法学习和扩充词汇所存在的问题。二、学习和扩充词汇的三种基本方法:上下文线索法、教师的词汇详解法、以及上述两种方法与查词典学习法相结合的方法。尽管查词典词汇学习法有种种弊端,但如果能教会学生将词典的运用与上下文线索词汇学习法和教师词汇详解活动法相结合,则词典会成为学生词汇学习的一个十分重要的有益的学习工具。

Dictionary and English Vocabulary Learning

This paper mainly discusses two parts.The first part discusses the problems with using dictionary alone for vocab-ulary,learning and enlarging.The second part introduces three basic methods for learning and expanding vocabulary:context clues;teacher's word elaboration activities;and the two methods aforesaid in combination with dictionary word learning.Although thereare some problems with dictionary word learning method alone,the dictionary can become a very important and helpful tool forlearning vocabulary if in combination with the use of context clues and the teacher's word elaboration activities.
