Objective: To investigate the influences of different drying methods on the contents of imperatorin and isoimperatorin in alcohol extracts of Angelica dahurica. Methods: A method of HPLC was employed to determine the contents of various drying samples. Results: The contents of imperatorin and isoimperatorin in various drying samples are ordered as extraction>freezing drying samples>depression drying samples>ordinary pressure drying samples>microwave drying samples. Conclusion: Freezing drying makes the losses of imperatorin and isoimperatorin lowest and excels others.
