| Abstract: | This paper presents a moderate discussion of Western humanities classics and their core views, and of the relevant part of traditional Chinese culture, covering philosophy, ethics, religion, aesthetics, literature and linguistics etc. We should learn the essence of their ideas and ways of thinking, especially the rich humanities nutrition in them, rather than only to remember a few episodes of their conclusions. |
