| 摘 要： | 上海租界是上海现代化的起源地,在租界里开始了上海现代化的脚步,上海监狱制度的现代化也肇始于租界。提篮桥监狱是上海规模最大的具有现代化监狱管理制度的监狱,是租界监狱的代表作,也是上海监狱制度现代化转型的缩影。因此,上海监狱制度的现代化始于提篮桥监狱。提篮桥监狱以其精良的设备、现代化的管理制度影响着上海监狱制度的现代化,传播着西方现代监狱文明理念。
