Research on Local Rules of Criminal Procedure During the Period of Chinese New Democratic Revolution

The local rules of criminal procedure in some provinces in the Republic of China took an important role to build modem criminal judicial system in the early time. Some rules and systems built in the revolutionary base areas by the local rules of criminal procedure have important effects even now. The local rules of criminal procedure in China have some important functions such as they could strengthen the normalization of criminal procedure and guard the rights of civilians.The local rules of criminal procedure in China have practical values to resolve concrete problems and explore to build modem criminal system.
