马来西亚文冬玻璃口新村华人社团初探

马来西亚华人社团可大致分为宗亲会、地缘类社团、业缘类社团、宗教类社团,以及文化社团等。文冬是马来西亚华人社团较为集中的地区,玻璃口新村作为紧邻文冬市区最大的新村也有一部分华人社团分布其中,新村现有的华人社团为两家宗亲会、两家文化类社团和一家私会党。在长期的发展过程中,村内社团已经体现出了定位本地化和管理专业化的特点,成为联结当地华人的纽带,也是当地华人与外界沟通的桥梁。经过长期的发展,新村的华人社团在团结新村村民、促进新村和谐发展、发扬华人传统文化等方面也起着重要的作用,但目前也存在着社团经营后继无人、运行经费不足的问题。

A Preliminary Study of Chinese Associations in the Perting New Village of Bentong in Malaysia

Malaysian Chinese associations can be broadly divided into clansmen associations,regional associations,professional associations,religious associations,and cultural associations.Bentong is a relatively concentrated area of Malaysian Chinese associations.As the largest new village near theBentong city,the Perting new village also has some Chinese associations.They are two clansmen associations,two cultural associations and one secret society.In the long-term development,Chinese association of the new villages have developed the characteristics of localization and professional management,and become a link between local overseas Chinese and a bridge for them to communicate with the outside world.The Chinese associations in the Perting new village have played an important role in uniting the villagers,creating the harmonious atmospherein the new village,and carrying forward the traditional Chinese culture.However,there are also some problems troubling the associations such as having no successors and lack of funds.
