Conservatism and Reagan Administration's Foreign Policy--toward the Third World

The Foreign Policy of Reagan Administration has strong color of conservatism. Reagan's third world policy is an outcome produced together by the neoconservatism and the traditional conservatism. Between the former and the later, they have both common ideas and differences. Under the leadership of Reagan, the two parts of the conservatism have been united. Although George W. Bush Administration could not copy Reagan's conservative foreign policy in the post-Cold War era, Reagan Administration has left a legacy of conservatism to America today, and this legacy has already affected and probably continues to affect U.S. foreign policy in the future.
