The Adjustment of Foreign Investment Structure of Overseas Chinese Enterprises in Southeast Asia

Since the 1980s. the overseas investment of ethnic Chinese conglomerates expanded rapidly. These conglomerates suffered serious losses in the financial crisis in 1997. They engaged in a series of strategic restructuring so as to get rid of the difficulties and raise their competitiveness.
