| Abstract: | As an Indian American post-colonial writer,Bharati Mukherjee s writing can be divided into three stages.Such three stages of writing clearly exposes Bharati Mukherjee s reflections on the issues of emigrants from the third world and the conflicts and fusions between Eastern and Western cultures.Bharati Mukherjee s three stages of trans-cultural writings,to some extent,include all the issues of exile and migration relevant with the early works of V · S · Naipaul and recent works of Salman Rushdie. |
