| 摘 要： | 本文作者是中关关系正常化过程的亲历者。在中美关系正常化启动35周年之际,作者应邀在美国华盛顿州世贸中心2006年年会上作了主题讲演(英文稿附后)。这篇讲演系统回顾了中美关系正常化启动的进程,强调了“一个中国”原则在中美关系中的战略基础地位,突出了美国当年对“一中”问题的政治承诺,是一篇史实与分析并重的文章。
