Regard to the Issue of the Urban Laborers Immigrated from Other Areas--Survey Report on the Development of Urban Labor in Shenzhen Immigrated from Other Areas

External labor originating from other areas has become the main force for constructing Shenzhen municipal projects. Nonetheless, due to the factors like discrimination in policy and imperfect mechanism for legal protection, the laborers are facing the problems such as lengthy working time, big pressure in mind, low income, and unsteady vocational position. We strongly recommend the government and society to pay attention to this group of people, to strengthen macro management of the labor market, to form a beneficial environment of employment, and to give support to them in policy, law, and economy in order to solve their factual issues in work and living.
