| Abstract: | The article briefly outlines five kinds of basic mechanisms which formed during the governance of water pollution in developed countries: namely, the establishment of governance mechanism and coordination mechanism for drainage basin, the comprehensive developing mechanism, the safeguard mechanism of funds and techniques, the social mechanism of common governance, and the healthy mechanism of rule of law. By using international experience for reference, the paper analyzes the defects in governance mechanism of Chinese drainage basin and puts forward the appropriate countermeasures. |
