公安大学生英语学习态度的特征研究

摘    要:采用随机抽样方法从广东公安高等专科学校99级516名学生中抽取191人,通过问卷和测试形式对公安院校大学生英语与英语学习态度特征进行研究,比较好差学生和不同专业学生之间英语与英语学习态度的异同.研究结果表明公安院校大学生英语大学生英语学习成绩与学习态度呈显著的正相关;英语学习态度总体上偏向较高水平;好学生英语学习态度显著高于差学生,且其态度三要素--认知、情感和意向相互协调一致;差学生则不同,其情感和意向分显著低于认知分;出入境专业学生英语和态度分都显著高于其它专业的分数.

Abstract:This research made comparisons of attitude towards English among different levels and different majors in Guangdong Police College. In general, the students' attitude towards English is on a relatively high level. Good students' attitude is significandy higher than that of the poor ones. Unlike good students whose three factors in attitude are in concert and harmony, poor students show significant differences in scores in affection, conation, and cognition. Scores in affection and conation are significandy higher than scores in cognition. Scores of achievement and attitudes are significandy different among majors.
