On Machiavelli's View of Political Honesty

Machiavelli,whose speech was characterized by cynicism and cold-blooded,was regarded and condemned as a representative figure of non-moralism.However,although he taught people hypocrisy,he was actually a thinker and diplomat with political honesty.He loved his country,philosophy,as well as prostitutes.He refused adulation and often contradicted high-status figures.He stressed that monarch should win people's confidence,and that one should rationally grasp the relationship between ends and means.He skillfully resorted to the expediency in a warmth and honest appearance in order to establish an honest state.Machiavelli set up the principle of political honesty in the autocratic era and was seen as the father of modern politics.
