外警培训中翻译人员工作的几点思考

随着全球一体化趋势的发展,各国交往日益频繁,国际犯罪率也呈现出逐年上升的趋势。为有效打击国际犯罪、加强国际警务合作、搭建国际警务平台,我国于2000年开始培训国外警察。在培训中,翻译人员的综合素质成为衡量培训效果的一项重要指标。基于实际工作经验,本文笔者总结了外警培训中翻译人员的工作内容、应具备的素质,分析了目前该项工作中翻译人员存在的普遍问题,并针对这些问题,提出了相应的解决对策。

Reflections on the Translator’ Work in Foreign Police Training

The development of globalization increases international exchanges, and meanwhile, raises the international crime rate. China has begun the foreign police training since the year 2000, with the view to fight against international crime effectively, to strengthen international policing cooperation, and to construct international policing platform. During training, the overall quality of the translator has become an important indicator of the effectiveness of training. On the basis of personal working experience, the author summarizes the working content and essential qualities of the translator in foreign police training, and then analyzes the problems of translator during training and puts forward some countermeasures.
