| 摘 要： | The 15th Indian Parliament （Lok Sabha） elections were held on schedule in April-May this year. The United Progressive Alliance led by the Indian National Congress won 262 of the total 543 seats. The Congress Party got 206 seats, an increase of 61 seats over the last election in 2004. This has been the greatest victory obtained by a political party in India＇s general election since 1977. |
