阅读是英语学习者必须掌握的四种基本技能之一,它能提高读者的认识能力,从而促进英语的听、说和写的能力的提高。随着市场人才需求的多样化,社会对中职毕业生的要求也在日益提高。中职生学习英语的主要目的是阅读英文资料、获取科学知识和与本专业相关的信息,因此如何提高中职生的阅读能力就成为中职英语教学的主要任务。

Some Views on Teaching English Reading in Vocational Colleges

Reading is one of the four basic skills that a foreign language learner must master. It can improve the reader＇s cognitive ability, thereby promoting English listening, speaking and writing ability. As the market demand for talent diversifies, social demands for vocational graduates are also increasing. The main purposes for vocational students to learn English are to read in English and to have access to scientific knowledge and information related to the profession; therefore to improve students＇ English reading ability teaching is the major task in vocational colleges.
