中国传统思维方式与西方的差异及其走向现代化的思考

中西方社会物质生活条件的差异使中国人和西方人的思维方式存在明显差别。前者推崇整体统一、直觉感性、中庸调和及内在超越,后者注重个人独立、逻辑论证、矛盾斗争及外在超越。这些差异对中西方各自的社会发展进程具有显著影响。面对与西方的发展差距,我国要想早日实现现代化的发展目标,必须首先实现思维方式的现代化。

The Disparities between Chinese Traditional Way of Thinking and the Western Way of Thinking and the Thought on the Modernization Trend of the Chinese Way of Thinking

The differences between Chinese an d western material life conditions l ead to the disparities of the way of th inking between Chinese and western people.The form er holds esteem for integrative unit y,intuitive perception,compromis ing mediation and in-ternal transcendence while the late r focuses on individual independence,logical demonstration,struggle of contradiction,and external transcendence.These disparities e xert an obvious influence on the social development process of China and t he west respectively.Facing such disparities,China must realize the modernization of its way of thinking first if it aims at realiz ing an all-round modern-ization.
