朝鲜第三次核试验的原因和影响分析

An Analysis of the Causes and Impacts of DPRK＇ s Third Nuclear Test

In defiance of the widespread international opposition and concern, North Korea conducted a third nuclear test in February 2013 as the product of its intensified external security environment and internal needs. The internal causes are that the DPRK government wanted to consolidate its authority, power and national unity. The external causes include the employment of nuclear weapons against hostile countries and the offsetting of the external security threats. North Korea~s third nuclear test will exacerbate tensions in northeast Asia and the security dilemma, and pose a threat to China＇s security to a certain extent.
