思想政治教育的现代化应从思想政治教育观念、内容、手段等几个方面着眼实现其现代化，推进思想政治教育的现代化要提高对思想政治教育现代化的认识，采取有效措施，提高思想政治教育工作者的素质，加强对思想政治教育现代化的投入，建立思想政治教育的创新体系，为实现思想政治教育现代化创造充分条件。

On modernization of ideological and political education in universities

The modernization of ideological and political education should be based on the modernization of the conception, content and means in ideological and political education. To push forward the modernization of ideological and political education , a better understanding of modernization of ideological and political education needs to be achieved,effective measures should be taken, the qualities of those who work in the field must be enhanced, much more money shoule be put in, and a creative system in ideological and political education is to be established, which all aim at creating more opportunities for the realization of ideological and political education modernization.
