Relationships between the Basic Tenets of Marxism and Socialism with Chinese Characteristics——With Several Comprehensions of the Basic Economic System at the Primary Stage of Socialism in China

Socialism with Chinese characteristics is a crystallization of integrating the basic tenets of Marxism with contemporary Chinese conditions.The basic tenets of Marxism are universal truths.Developing Marxism means analyzing new situations and drawing new conclusions with the basic tenets of Marxism.New phenomena arisen from practice should be explained and interpreted with the basic tenets of Marxism.The basic economic system in which public ownership is dominant and different economic sectors develop side by side is a major development in socialist ownership theory.It is introduced by the Party through integrating the Marxist tenet,of the relationship between the productive forces and the relations of production,with the reality of the primary stage of socialism in China.
