Scheme of Establishing Cross- Strait Criminal Information Exchange and Cooperative System

With cross-strait exchange becoming more frequent,cross-strait crimes are increasingly serious.But police in mainland and Taiwan have not established an effective cooperative system to exchange criminal information so as to jointly combat crimes,which has contrained the effectiveness of combating and punishing cross-strait crimes which bring about damages to the interests of people on both sides.Based on current conditions and principles of One China,equal consultation,mutual trust and reciprocity and mutal respect,police across the Strait should strengthen the construction of criminal information exchange and cooperative system and further clarify the contents of criminal information exchange and cooperation and choose its feasible methods,formulate mechanisms of routine contact and criminal information exchange and implement cooperative plan so as to mak jointly-combating-cime work standardized and legalized.
