国际关系理论的价值透视

与其他社会科学理论一样,国际关系理论总是反映了一定的价值倾向。秩序与正义是国际关系中两种基本的价值倾向。在三种理论传统中,现实主义传统潜含着秩序追求,革命主义传统高举正义的大旗,自由主义传统则游走在秩序与正义之间。国际关系理论的客观性在一定程度上体现为其中的价值倾向是否符合国际社会发展的客观要求,理论批判因此也可以转化为价值批判。要建构一种完善的解释或预测理论,就需要认清国际社会发展规律,学会调适自身的价值观。

A Value Perspective of International Relations Theory

An international relations theory reflects always certain value inclination(s) like any other social science theories. Order and justice are two basic value inclinations and realism, liberalism and revolutionism are three basic theoretical traditions. The realist tradition's value inclination is order, the revolutionism justice and the liberalism between order and justice. Because the objectivity of international relations theory means to some extent that its value inclination(s) should accord with objective requirements of international relations development, a theory criticism can be considered as a value criticism too. For the purpose of constructing a perfect interpretation or prediction theory, theorists should learn to adjust their own outlook on values according to the law of development of the international community.
