殖民运动与传统农业的内卷化——以夏威夷芋头种植变迁为研究对象

从马克思主义生态哲学思想出发分析,可发现资本主义国家的殖民运动限制并阻碍了夏威夷土著传统农业的合理发展,使其内卷化。夏威夷土著居民种植芋头已有1000多年的可考历史,传统芋头种植在夏威夷群岛生态农业发展中具有珍贵的价值。芋头与夏威夷土著居民的神话传说及传统宗教信仰有着密不可分的联系,在土著民族文化保护及民族政治意识中有着重要意义。随着资本主义生产方式的介入,夏威夷芋头种植遭到严重破坏而出现大规模缩减。结合马克思关于生产关系、生态环境与社会制度的论述,可深层透视夏威夷土著居民对美国的资本主义文化抵抗的根源。

Colonization and Traditional Agricultural Involution: A Case Study of Hawaiian Taro Cultivation

Based on Marxism ecological philosophy,colonization by capitalist countries has restricted and hindered rational development of Hawaiian indigenous traditional agriculture,leading to a trend of involution.Indigenous Hawaiians have grown taro for a thousand years.Traditional taro cultivation demonstrates significant value to the eco-agriculture in Hawaii,meanwhile it has connected to indigenous Hawaiian mythologies and ancient belief.Therefore Taro attaches important meanings to indigenous cultural conservation and political consciousness.Introduction of capitalist mode of production has to severe degree degraded taro cultivation in Hawaii.Marxism thoughts on relations of production,ecological environment and social institutions provide in-depth perspectives on the roots of indigenous Hawaiians’fight against capitalist culture of the United States of America.
