Affiliation: | JEFFREY I. CHAPMAN is currently an Associate Professor and Director of the Sacramento Public Affairs Center–a component of the University of Southern California's School of Public Administration He has published extensively in the area of the interrelationships between land use decisions and public finance. His recent book, Proposition 13 rmd Land Use tested these interdependencies using formal econometric modeling techniques. He has published in the areas of fiscal stress, rent control, and public budgeting, with articles appearing in such journals as Public Finance Quarterly, National Tax. Journal, and Journal of Urban Economics. Professor Chapman has a Ph.D. and M.A. in economics from the University of California at Berkeley and an A.B. in economics from Occidental College. |
