From the Editors [of Voprosy filosofii]: Global problems have now become one of the urgent subjects for philosophical research and embrace the very widest range of problems of world view, of social and methodological questions, particularly studies of global modeling, which have given a new, powerful stimulus to the development of the systems approach.
