| 摘 要： | 现代宽容观念起源于宗教改革时期宽容思想家反对异端迫害,为宗教宽容和良心自由所作的辩护.在不同的历史情境下,宽容的政治原则致力于区分私人领域与公共领域,划定政治强制的界限,为个人在信仰、价值观与生活方式上的自主选择辩护,它所包含的理性有限论、多元论、个人权利观等自由主义价值融入现代民主理念和制度设计,丰富了民主的价值内涵.
