两汉时期警政制度的特点

暴秦的速亡,促使汉代统治者重新选择警政思想,由此出现警政思想的儒家化,并影响到整个封建社会。在警政职能和机构设置方面,汉承秦制,又略有区别。王国和豪强大族的存在,使中央政府对地方警政权力的控制力有所减弱;汉代的常规警政管理措施内容丰富,涉及面广,警政人员积累了较为丰富的管理经验。

Characteristics of the Policing System in Han Dynasty

The sudden collapse of the Qin Dynasty prompted the new ruler of the Han Dynasty to adopt an alternative policing ideology.This resulted in the Confucian trend of policing ideology,which continued through the whole feudal society.In terms of the policing function and the policing organization,the Han Dynasty administration made little alteration compared to the previous ones.Because of the feudal lords,the central administration loosened its control of local policing power.The regular policing management of the Han Dynasty featured with plentiful content and wide concern,and accumulated a wealth of experience.
