资料室是学校图书情报系统的组成部分 ,它侧重为教学和科研收集、整编专业资料 ,提供资料情报 ,开展情报服务 ,是辅助性学术机构 ,具有学术性和服务性的双重属性。此外 ,由于资料室行政隶属于院系 ,地处院系之中 ,资料人员熟悉院系的教学安排、课程设置 ,熟悉教师的教学进度、科研课题及进展情况 ,熟悉本专业知识 ,从而能提供更具有针对性的服务。
