论经济全球化进程中的国际关系民主化

现代意义上的经济全球化发轫于15世纪末的地理大发现,从此,伴随着资本的流动,殖民的扩张,资本主义世界市场日益形成,最终建立了东方从属于西方的世界殖民体系。自此,世界历史便开始了反对以统治、干涉和服从为特征的强权型国际关系,也就是在国际事务中开始了追求以独立自主、平等参与和互利合作为特征的国际关系民主化的进程。可以说,经济全球化的发展进程就是国际社会普遍追求国际关系民主化的过程。

On the Democratization of International Relations in the Process of Economic Globalization

Economic globalization, in modern sense, originated in the great geographic discovery at the end of the 15th century. Later, with the flow of capital and the colonial expansion, the market of the capitalist world gradually took its shape and finally developed into the world colonial system characterized with the east' s submission to the west. Since then, the world history is marked with the opposition of the power international relations featured with ruling, interference and submission and starts a new period of democratization of international relations in which such principles of maintaining independence while keeping initiative, having equal participation and seeking for mutual benefit and cooperation are advocated. Therefore, the developing process of economic globalization is also the process in which the international communities seek for the democratization of international relations.
