The Government Should Provide Legal Aid to Better Perform Its Duty:Summary of Legal Aid Services in Beijing

Legal aid services are government-established agencies,which provide free legal aid services for citizens who cannot afford legal services because of financial difficulties and for those parties of special cases.The government does this by organizing legal aid personnel and social volunteers to ensure the legal rights of all citizens.Legal aid demonstrates the constitutional principle of "equality before the law" and it is the duty of the government.This article gives a summary of ten years' efforts and exploration of legal aid services in Beijing.
