殖民地左翼文学刊物的坚持与溃败：《台湾新文学》（1935—1937）之文化生产研究

日据台湾最重要的左翼文学刊物《台湾新文学》诞生于日本殖民统治政策逐步收紧的20世纪30年代中后期,此时的政治话语论述要求文学活动同质化并参与政治翼赞,逼迫文学活动适应政权对文化的需要而作出转型。《台湾新文学》在殖民强权所制造的＂文化繁荣＂中无意助力,只能勉力维持,在有限的文化资源里坚持将左翼理念暗中传递,与读者达到声应一致的目的。通过将台湾20世纪30年代以左翼文学刊物发行为主的文化生产惨淡经营的现状与彼时中国大陆左翼文学生产盛况进行对比,可以体悟到《台湾新文学》作为殖民话语论述强势压迫下的左翼抵殖民能量的难能可贵,并对刊物所达到的左翼文学成就有新的认识。

The Persistence and Collapse of A Colonial Left-wing Literary Journal——A Study of Cultural Production on La Formosa Nov-literaturo (1935-1937)

La Formosa Nov-literaturo（ 1935-1937 ）, the most important left-wing literary journal during the Japanese occu- pation of Taiwan, was established in late 1930s when the colonial ruling policies were tightening up. The political discourse of colonial hegemony was strengthening, demanding that all the literary activities should involve in political affairs, thus forcing all literary journals to serve as the shifting paradigm to meet their political need. On the other hand, La Formosa Nov-literaturo, which had always kept its moral attitude, had, in fact, no intention to do anything in support of what the colonialists called the ＂cultural prosperity＂. With limited resources, the journal persisted in conveying in secret the left-wing ideas to all readers, in- spiring and enlightening the public as best they could. Comparing the miserable situation of the Taiwan left-wing cultural pro- duction with the prosperity of the left-wing literary production in the mainland in 1930s, we may say that what La Formosa Nov- literaturo has done for the decolonization of Taiwan is indeed commendabl and should be greatly valued.
