On Philosophical Basis for Legal Protection of Non-material Cultural Heritage

As a vital poroblem in modern societv, the lezal protection of non-material cultural heritage is of great significance for citizens＇ enjoyment of cultual rights and the cultivation of their national spirit.Scholars hold that the philosophical basis for the protection of untangible cultural heritage at present mainly mean maintaining the features and rarity of cultures,realizing sustainable development and advancing the realization of specific cultural rights.In our opinion,only by understanding the basis from the perspectives of justice and human rights in an all round way can non-material cultural heritage be better protected and people＇ s cultural rights be safeguarded.
