Abstract: | Poisoning by ingestion of oxalate-containing plants, such as raw rhubarb, is infrequent, and such deaths are rare. We present a review of the most important clinical and pathological aspects of oxalate poisoning and recommend that the public be educated about the dangers of eating unknown plants with potentially adverse effects. |
