The"May 4th interpretation"of the Chinese Communists refers to the recollection,evaluation and reflection of the May 4th movement by the Chinese Communists since the May 4th movement.During the period of new democratic revolution,the Chi?nese Communists interpreted the May 4th movement from the aspects of revolutionary leadership,power,stage division and tasks,and constructed the revolutionary discourse of"May 4th interpretation";in the period of socialist construction and reform and open?ing up,the Chinese Communists explained the May 4th movement from the great goal of socialist construction,historical tasks of each stage and the struggle direction of youth,and constructed the construction discourse of"May 4th interpretation".This paper re?views the construction process of"May 4th interpretation"by the Chinese Communists,which is of great significance to deepen the study of the spirit of the May 4th movement and better inherit and carry forward the spirit of the May 4th movement.
