Deepen Understanding of Socially Necessary Labor - time TAO Zheng

Socially necessary labor--time, which is an important concept in Marx＇s labor theory of value, has two meanings in the current theoretical circles. Despite the differences between them, they are identical in essence. They are separately ab-stract and concrete, and are also separately general and individual. The two meanings of socially necessary labor-time are ana- lyzed in this paper. Their influences upon the value determination are further discussed. The aim of the paper is to give a more scientific explanation of the effects of the two meanings on value determination rather than setting them against each other.
