| 摘 要： | 在英语否定句和疑问句结构的演变过程中,助动词do从无到有,逐渐淘汰旧的形式,占据主导地位.英语助动词do的形成与发展,是语言内部的结构变化和语言外部的社会文化因素共同作用的结果.从微观社会语言学的角度来看,语言的变异与语言使用者关系密切.不同时期有关英语作品中的语言特点及变化表明,历史上西方宗教文化对英语助动词do的广泛使用起到了重要的促进作用.

| Abstract: | In the course of the development of English auxiliary do,its diachronic change depends on both language-internal conditions and language-external conditions.From the perspective of sociolinguistics the change of a language is closely related to its users.In western culture religion seems to have made much contribution to the widely spreading of English auxiliary do,which can be seen from language changes in English works at different times. |
