Birthplace of Cantonese Cuisine
Abstract:AN old Chinese saying goes,Guangdong is for food and Fengcheng is for chefs. Shunde,known as Fengcheng in ancient times,is a town in the south-central part of Guangdong Province.which enjoys a reputation as the hometown of Chinese chefs and birthplace of Canton-ese cuisine. In 2014,Shunde was designated as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.
