Alienation and Correction of Power at the Confluence - An Analysis of Personnel Corruption in Transitional Communities in the Process of Urbanization

According to Giddens’s theory, confluence is a connection point between the non-professional individuals or groups and agents of the abstract system. It is a weak link of the abstract system, and is also an intersection point to maintain and build trust. As to transitional communities, confluence is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, confluence is the field of power alienation; on the other hand, it is the field of power correction. To get rid of the personnel corruption in transitional communities, the key step is to rebuild the trust at the confluence. Combined with the reality, attentions should be paid to nurture concepts, control systems, hatch organizations and shape the culture of trust.
