On Kelsen's Pure Theory of Law

This thesis is about Kelsen's pure theory.Firstly,the writer expounds the meaning of“pure”and argues about what the aim of pure theory is.Secondly, the author introduces and analyses Kelsen's thoughts about the concept of law,the structure of legal norm and system of legal rules. Thirdly, the writer summarizes the notion of the logic of command-norm and argues that there is an axiomatic trend in Kelsen's thought. The author finally makes a brief com- ment.
